Hendricks County, Indiana
Three programs. One mission. A future where working families thrive.
Every program at The HR Nest Foundation is designed to do one thing — give working families the time, tools, and opportunity to move from surviving to thriving. Meals restore time. Education opens the future. Workforce support builds stability.
ROOTED IN OUR MISSION
Each of our programs trace back to a single belief — families deserve more than survival mode.
We exist to strengthen working families across Hendricks County by addressing the three barriers that hold them back most: time poverty, opportunity gaps, and financial fragility. Our programs are built to work together — restoring time at the dinner table, opening doors through education, and creating long-term economic mobility through career and financial growth.
THE FOUR PILLARS
Four pillars that hold up every family we serve.
Our three programs are different on the surface — but underneath, they all support the same four pillars.
Together, they form a holistic system of care for working families.
Restore Time
Working parents lose hours every week to logistics, errands, and meal prep. We give those hours back.
Open Opportunity
Kids and adults gain access to STEM, AI, and career skills that wouldn't otherwise be in reach.
Strengthen Community
Strong families build strong communities. Our work ripples outward — neighborhood by neighborhood.
Build Stability
Workforce coaching and financial literacy translate effort into measurable economic mobility.
THREE INTEGRATED PROGRAMS
Different on the surface. Built for the same family.

HOW THE PROGRAMS CONNECT
One family. One upward path.
Our programs are designed as a system. Each one removes a specific barrier and together, they form a continuous path from immediate relief to long-term stability.
We start at the table.
A working parent receives weekly meals and gets their evenings back. Stress drops. Time opens up.
Their kids step forward.
With more family time, the same parent enrolls their child in STEM & AI workshops they couldn't fit before.
They build a future.
The parent has space to attend career coaching and financial literacy — moving the whole family upward.
