Community-centered meal support

Serving Hendricks County, Indiana

A different kind of
meal support.

Most food assistance programs focus on groceries. The Family Table Program focuses on meal readiness — the gap between having ingredients and getting dinner on the table after a long day.

We call it time poverty : when working parents have just enough hours, energy, and bandwidth to make it through the day, but not enough to sit down to a hot meal as a family.

  • Working long hours with little time to cook

  • Juggling multiple jobs and caregiving

  • Stretched financially despite being employed

  • Exhausted by daily logistics and rising costs

"We understand that exhaustion, schedules, and rising costs can make even basic daily tasks overwhelming. A hot meal can restore time, reduce stress, and help families reconnect."

How meal support works.

01

Families Apply Online

A simple, dignified registration form: household details and your preferred meal option. No long wait, no paperwork pile.

02

Choose Meal Support Type

Pickup, dine-in, or delivery (when available). Built around your week — not the other way around.

03

Meal Slots Become Available

Families select available meal dates and times that fit their schedule, with reminders and flexible rescheduling.

04

Volunteers Fulfill Meal Support

A community of volunteers prepares, packages, delivers, or distributes meals — neighbors caring for neighbors.
